The CKF Fabrication Process
From full slab to a finished countertop, our fabrication facility uses the latest techniques and technologies to create a superior finished product
PROGRAMMING
Programming is where the countertop fabrication journey begins. Our team of machine programming professionals will take your countertop’s CAD drawing and program our state-of-the-art robotic cutting machines to precisely cut your stone.
ROUGH CUT
The RoboSawjet is the industry leading piece of countertop cutting technology. This saw combines a traditional saw with high pressure water jets to accurately and efficiently cut your stone.
EDGE PROFILE
After your countertop has been cut out of the slab, it will be transferred to the profiler and receive any additional sink cutouts. This machine will use your selected edge profile to finish the edges of your stone.
MITERED + PREMIUM EDGES
After your countertop has been cut out of the slab, it will be transferred to the profiler and receive any additional sink cutouts. This machine will use your selected edge profile to finish the edges of your stone.
POLISHING
Your new countertops will be meticulously hand-polished to a superior finish.
QUALITY CONTROL
Every countertop is personally signed off on by our team of quality control professionals before it leaves the facility. They inspect each piece for any scratches or damage as well as compare finished measurements to your countertop’s CAD drawing.
